Bhatia happy with Hoops' progress
Rangers are thought to be one of the richest clubs in the world but a turbulent campaign at Loftus Road saw them sack Iain Dowie and Paulo Sousa and fail to challenge for promotion.
Yet Bhatia told the club's official website: "We've made fine progress this season.
"Our final points tally of 61 is the best we've registered in recent seasons and I firmly believe we've got a squad that can compete in the upper echelons of the Championship."
Bhatia also revealed the club is closing in on a new manager, adding: "We've talked to a lot of people and we're nearly there."
