Balanta set for lengthy absence
QPR winger Angelo Balanta has undergone surgery to repair ankle ligament damage and is expected to be sidelined for up to four months.
The 20-year-old Colombian, on a season-long loan at MK Dons, picked up the injury two week`s ago against Brentford and has since missed three games for Karl Robinson`s men.
MK Dons medical staff will shortly begin rehabilitation with Balanta with the view of him returning to action in April 2011.
