Ainsworth: Rangers ready for rest

There have been many changes at Loftus Road throughout the campaign, including three managerial appointments, but Rangers have still fallen short of the play-offs. And Ainsworth believes the upheaval has taken its toll on the players. "It has been a real roller coaster expectations," he told the club's official website. "At the start there were amazing expectations and now it is a little bit of an anti-climax but credit to the boys, they have done well to come through everything and keep performing. "There are a few happy faces that it is coming to an end. They need a break and they need to refresh for next season, and myself also, it is time to have the summer, reflect a bit and recharge the batteries for next season."
