No McKenna for Queen of the South
Queen of the South will be without Stephen McKenna when they host Cowdenbeath.
McKenna has a hip injury which look like it needs surgery to rectify.
Manager Jim McIntyre is warning his players not to be taken in by the Fifer's 5-1 defeat to Dumbarton last weekend. He explained: "I have a detailed report on that game and it highlights that it was a lot closer than the score-line would indicate. Cowdenbeath were well in it until the last 10 minutes so we cannot turn up and expect an easy time."
"We have worked hard to get into the top four and the best way to stay there is by winning games."
Cowdenbeath travel to Dumfries without top goalscorer Kane Hemmings, who has a hamstring injury.
On-loan Partick Thistle defender Darren Brownlie faces a late fitness check after he picked up an injury in training.
Manager Jimmy Nicholl said: "The latter part of the game at Dumbarton was really disappointing but I know that this group of players cannot play as badly again. We were right in things at 2-1 but could not get an equalising goal.
"However, that is done now and our aim is to do a lot better this time. There is no reason for us to think that we cannot pick anything up against Queen of the South."
