Doonhamers given double boost as they bid to exact revenge on Saints
Queen of the South host St Mirren just seven days after losing 1-0 to the Paisley side and have Chris Higgins and Alex Harris both available after knocks to help them turn things around.
Callum Tapping (knee) could be on the bench following a six-month injury lay-off, but Dale Hilson is still out with a foot problem.
Doonhamers manager James Fowler said: "We played reasonably well last weekend but we failed to take our chances.
"If we can show more of a cutting edge we can get back to where we were in terms of an advantage over St Mirren."
St Mirren will be without Jason Naismith again due to a knee injury and Jim Goodwin is still struggling with an ankle problem.
Manager Alex Rae said: "It was an important win for us (last week) as it helped push us further away from issues at the bottom of the table.
"It was a tough game and could have gone either way, but it does not make any difference to how this game will go.
"Both sides will go out and look to win it in the same manner and hopefully we will come out on top again."
