Livingston without Ben Gordon and Gary Glen at managerless Doonhamers

Having parted company with manager James Fowler this week, Queen of the South will be lead by assistant boss Gavin Skelton, alongside under-20 coach Jim Thomson, for the visit of Livingston.

Kyle Hutton should return after a foot injury but Jake Pickard is struggling with a knock.

Skelton said: "Training was quiet on Tuesday however the players have continued to work hard and we will be ready for Livingston.

"The last time they were here we let a one-goal lead slip into a 4-1 defeat. Jim and I will send out a side that are determined to make up for that and end our home campaign on a high."

Livingston will be without Ben Gordon at the heart of their defence after he suffered a groin injury in the 2-1 defeat from Morton in their last outing.

Striker Gary Glen remains out with a similar injury, with Danny Mullen added to the squad.

Manager David Hopkirk said: "Queen of the South's management move surprised me and I am not sure how their players will react. It could work against us as they have a lot of players out of contract soon and they may see this as a great time to impress a new manager.

"But we cannot worry too much about how they react as we simply have to look after ourselves."
