Queens ease past Wasps
Queen of the South recorded their first victory of 2014 with a 3-1 success against Alloa.
Queens hit the front just before the half-hour mark through Michael Paton's deflected shot and doubled their lead four minutes later as Gavin Reilly found the top corner with a brilliant volley.
Derek Lyle made the points safe on 55 minutes as he finished from close range at the end of a flowing Queens move.
Substitute Ross Caldwell gave Alloa hope in the 62nd minute when he turned home Ben Gordon's cross but the hosts held on for three vital points in their battle to avoid the drop.
