Wes Hoolahan is an attacking midfield player who signed for Norwich City in the summer of 2008 after two seasons at Blackpool. Wes is a playmaker with tremendous ability. He has been an important player since his arrival at Carrow Road setting up chances with his pin-point passing and contributing a healthy tally of goals himself. Wes continued to excel in 2010-11 and was a key player in the Canaries' team that won promotion. He netted 10 goals and his performances saw him selected for the PFA Championship team of the season. Wes began his senior career at Shelbourne in his native Ireland and later played in Scotland for Livingston before his move south. He appeared for the Republic of Ireland at U21 and B international levels before winning his first full cap against Colombia in May 2008. © 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
