Tomas Rosicky is an experienced midfield player who signed for Arsenal in the summer of 2006. A skilful midfield playmaker with the ability to open up opposition defences, he has struggled with injuries in recent seasons causing him to miss the whole of the 2008-09 campaign. He enjoyed a much better time in 2010-11 when he featured regularly in the matchday squad in the first half of the campaign and captained the side in the absence of Cesc Fabregas. However his injury problems returned and he only featured occasionally in the new year. Before joining the Gunners Tomas enjoyed a successful career with Sparta Prague and Borussia Dortmund. He made his international debut for the Czech Republic as a teenager and has now won more than 80 caps for his country. © 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
