Tom Carroll

A young attacking midfield player who spent two years as a scholar at Tottenham Hotspur before he was given his first professional contract in June 2010.

Tommy is a player who is comfortable on the ball and a good passer. He had an impressive scoring record from midfield for Spurs' U18s before progressing into the Development Squad.

Tommy gained his first experience of senior football when he was loaned to League One club Leyton Orient in January 2011. He went on to make his debut for Tottenham in the Europa League tie with Hearts in August and added further cup appearances before adding to his senior experience with a loan spell at Derby in the second half of the season.

He scored on his debut but after a short run in the line-up on the right side of midfield before dropping back to the bench. He was capped for England U19s against the Netherlands in March 2011.
