Tim Krul is a goalkeeper who joined Newcastle United from Den Haag in July 2005. He progressed into the first-team squad making a dream debut in his second season at the club when he played against Palermo in the UEFA Cup. Tim gained experience in loan spells at Falkirk and Carlisle United before making his League debut for the Magpies in August 2009. He made further appearances in the Championship and began 2010-11 on the bench. Tim got his chance in September when Steven Harper was injured and went on to make regular appearances in the Premier League. He has represented the Netherlands at U21 level and his form in 2010-11 earned him a call up to the full international squad. Tim made his debut in June when he kept a clean sheet in a friendly against Brazil and made a further appearance against Uruguay later the same month. © 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
