Tamir Cohen

Tamir Cohen is a midfield player who signed for Bolton Wanderers in January 2008.

Most effective when pushing forward, he possesses a great left foot and is good in the air. After a campaign settling in at the Reebok, Tamir struggled with injuries in 2008-09, but was back in action the following season and started out in fine form with three early-season goals.

However, he rarely featured in 2010-11 with his first Premier League start not coming until April. He was released by Wanderers at the end of the season and returned to Israel, signing for Maccabi Haifa.

Tamir previously played for Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Netanya before joining Bolton. He is a full international for Israel, having won his first cap back in October 2007.
