Stuart O'Keefe is a young wide or central midfielder who signed for Crystal Palace in August 2010. He spent much of the 2010-11 season developing on the fringes of the first team, regularly being on the bench although only occasionally coming on. He received his first start against Preston in January, in what was new manager Dougie Freedman?s first game in charge. Stuart developed in the Ipswich Town youth set-up, before joining Southend as a scholar. He made his debut for the Shrimpers back in November 2008 and made several more appearances before leaving at the end of the 2009-10 campaign.
