Stewart Drummond is an experienced central midfield player who rejoined Morecambe in January 2008 for his second spell with the club. Stewart made his debut for the Shrimps as a 19-year-old and went on to have 10 seasons with the club in their non-league days, moving on to Chester City before playing for Shrewsbury Town. He is an influential player for Morecambe both for his creative ability and his knack of finding the net himself. He was a near ever-present in the first team during 2010-11 and at the end of the campaign was appointed to a coaching role which he plans to combine with the continuation of his playing career.
