Steven Leslie

Steven Leslie is a young player who has developed through the youth system at Shrewsbury Town. He started his senior career as a left winger but has since switched inside to play as part of a midfield two. Although born in Glasgow, Steven was brought up in Shrewsbury joining the club at an early age. He is a good passer of the ball and likes to get forward. He was a regular in the Shrews’ line up in the first half of the 2010-11 season, but in the new year he was in and out of the side and joined Hereford on loan in March 2011. He did well at Edgar Street, scoring twice in 11 games and returned to Shrewsbury in time to rejoin the squad for the play offs.
