Steven Fletcher

Steven Fletcher is a striker who joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from Burnley in the summer of 2010. He is a tall and rangy player who favours his left foot. Steven got off to a great start at Molineux, netting what proved to be the winner against Stoke on the opening day of the season. However, he was often on the bench as the team operated with a lone striker for much of the campaign, although he was back in the line-up towards the end of the season. Despite this he finished as the club’s leading scorer with 10 Premier League goals. Steven earned his reputation as a goalscorer North of the Border with Hibs, then moved south to Burnley where he finished as top scorer in 2009-10, prompting a transfer to Wolves. He won his first full cap for Scotland against Croatia in March 2008.
