Steven Taylor is an experienced defender who has been at Newcastle United since joining the Magpies as a youngster. He made his debut for the club back in 2004 and has since gone on to make over 200 first-team appearances. Steven is mainly a centre back but has been used at both right and left back during his career. He missed the start of 2010-11 after suffering an injury in pre-season but returned to the team in November. Steven suffered further injury problems but finished the campaign in the starting line-up and achieved the significant feat for a defender of scoring in each of the final three Premier League games of the season. He is a former England U21 international. © 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
