Steven Brinkhurst is a midfield player who signed his first professional contract for Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2009.

Steven is a direct and pacy winger who developed through the youth and reserve teams while with the Seagulls.

He was included on the bench for the FA Cup tie against Hartlepool United in September 2008 but saw no first-team action during his time at Albion. Steven was on loan at Lewes in 2009-10 before he was released by Brighton at the end of the season. He joined Conference club Eastbourne Borough for 2010-11.
