Steve Davies is an attacking player who signed for Derby County from Tranmere Rovers in the summer of 2008. His appearances in his first two campaigns at Pride Park were restricted by injury and he then missed the first half of 2010-11 again through injury. He was back to fitness by the end of December, making his return in the local derby clash against Nottingham Forest. Steve went on to feature regularly in the second half of the campaign with his five goals making him joint second-top scorer. Steve's career began at Tranmere where he made his senior debut as a 17-year-old trainee.
