Stephen Elliott left Preston North End in August 2010 to join Scottish outfit Hearts. 

The striker, known for his pace and finishing ability, made 46 league appearances in two seasons with the Lilywhites where he scored seven goals. 

Stephen's most memorable goals for Preston came at Molineux where he netted twice against his former club Wolves. 

He has nine appearances for the Republic of Ireland to his name and got on the score sheet once in a 1-0 win over Cyprus in 2005. 

Stephen was loaned out to Norwich during the 2009-10 season after struggling to play regular football at Deepdale.
