Stephen McGinn is a midfield player who signed for Watford in the January 2010 transfer window. Stephen is a product of the St Mirren Academy set-up and made his senior debut in January 2007. He went on to establish himself in the line-up for the Buddies during the 2008-09 campaign. Stephen was mostly used as a substitute by the Hornets in 2009-10 as he settled into life at Vicarage Road, but he established himself in the starting line-up in 2010-11, operating either centrally behind the striker or on the edge of a midfield diamond. However, his campaign ended prematurely when he suffered a serious knee injury playing against Doncaster in February. Stephen has represented Scotland at U21 level.
