Player Details
Shaun Jeffers is a promising young striker for Coventry City. He featured for the first team during the 2009 pre-season friendlies and went on to make his senior debut when he made the starting line-up for the Carling Cup tie with Hartlepool that August, going on to add further appearances as a substitute. He spent most of the 2010-11 season out on loan, firstly at Cheltenham where he made a good impression, and later briefly at Cambridge United. New manager Andy Thorn recalled Shaun a month into the second loan in order to assess him. The tall striker is highly rated by the back-room staff at the Ricoh and was given a new contract at the season's end. During the season he also won his first England U19 cap.
