Shaun Brisley is a young defender who is in his third season as a professional at Macclesfield Town after graduating from the club's youth team. Shaun made his League debut as a 17-year-old and went on to become a regular in the first team starting line-up. He is a versatile player most at home at centre back, but has also been used on either side of the defence as full back or wing back. Shaun missed a significant period of 2010-11 through injury but was back in action in February and went on to complete his 100th first-team appearance for the club shortly before his 21st birthday.
