Scott Davies was the regular back-up goalkeeper at Morecambe until he was released in May 2010.

Scott graduated from the Shrimps' youth system before going on to make his senior debut for the club in the Conference. He appeared in the play-off final which led to promotion into the Football League and was given a run of first- team games towards the end of 2007-08.

Scott was on the bench throughout the next two seasons making just a single appearance in 2009-10. He went on to join Fleetwood Town and appeared regularly for the Conference club during 2010-11.
