Scott Carson is a goalkeeper who signed for West Bromwich Albion in July 2008.

He is an assured ‘keeper who handles the ball confidently and has good positional sense. He was first choice for the Baggies for almost all of his three seasons at the club, making over 100 League appearances and captaining the side until the beginning of 2011.

Scott began his career as a scholar with Leeds, then went on to sign for Liverpool in January 2005. However, he was never more than cover during his time at Anfield, gaining extensive Premier League experience in loan spells with Charlton in 2006-07 and Aston Villa the following season.

Scott has three senior caps for England, his most recent appearance coming in the friendly against Germany in November 2008.

He left The Hawthorns in the summer of 2011, signing for Turkish Super Lig club Bursaspor.
