Sammy Amoebi is a young attacking player who joined Newcastle United as a first-year academy player in July 2008. Sammy is the younger brother of team mate Shola and has been used either as an attacking midfield player or a striker. He progressed through the U18s and reserves before making his Premier League debut at Chelsea in the final away game of 2010-11. Sammy came off the bench late in the game to join his brother on the pitch - the first time in more than 50 years that two brothers have played in a league game for the Magpies. © 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
