Rory McArdle Biography
Rory McArdle is a defender who made over 150
senior appearances for Rochdale.
Rory is a
tall centre back who is strong in the air and poses an attacking threat going
forward at corners and free kicks.
He started his career at Sheffield
Wednesday where he graduated from the youth team to sign a professional
contract, but made just one appearance in the first team before moving on.
Rory
played regularly for Dale in 2008-09 but was absent from the opening weeks of
the following campaign through injury. He left Spotland in the summer of 2010
and signed for SPL club Aberdeen.
