Ricky Holmes is a striker who made the step up to full-time football in the summer of 2010 when he signed for League Two club Barnet. Ricky was with Southend United as a youngster going on to join Chelmsford City following his release. Ricky developed into a prolific scorer and topped the club's charts with 21 goals in 2009-10. He was released at the end of the season and after moving to Underhill made his Football League debut at Chesterfield on the opening day of the season. Ricky continued in the squad until January when he suffered a foot injury during the warm-up for the game against Shrewsbury. He was out for three months but returned to action in the final weeks of 2010-11.
