Richard Cresswell Biography

Richard Cresswell is an experienced striker who made the move to Sheffield United in the January 2010 transfer window after a successful loan spell at Bramall Lane. Richard featured regularly for the Blades and finished the 2009-10 season with a double-figure goals total. In 2010-11 he was more often used as a wide player but, despite being involved in over 30 games, he scored only five goals. Richard is a former England U21 international whose career began at York City in 1995. He has since played for a number of clubs and was a key player in Stoke City's promotion to the Premier League only later to fall out of favour at the Britannia Stadium.
