Reuben Noble-Lazarus is a promising young striker who signed his first professional contract for Barnsley in May 2011. Reuben is quick and strong and made history when he became the youngest-ever player to appear for the club in the Football League when he made his debut at Ipswich in September 2008 shortly after his 15th birthday. He joined Barnsley as a scholar the following season and in 2010-11 regularly captained the club?s U18s in the Academy Premier League. Reuben was given a number of run outs as a substitute in the Championship during the second half of the campaign and went on to make his first start against Doncaster Rovers. He finished the season by scoring a spectacular winner against Millwall for his first senior goal.
