Sandro is a talented young midfield player who joined Tottenham Hotspur for the start of the 2010-11 campaign. Sandro is best deployed in a holding role in front of the back four. He is a powerful, strong and aggressive player who has pace and the ability to pass the ball. Sandro had an impressive first season at White Hart Lane producing some excellent performances after being in and out of the team in the opening weeks of the campaign. He was previously at the Brazilian club Internacional and after agreeing to join Spurs in March 2010 he remained with his old club until the summer of that year, helping them to win the 2010 Copa Libertadores. Sandro appeared for Brazil U20s and went on to earn his first full cap in September 2009.
