Radek Cerny Biography

Radek Cerny is a reliable goalkeeper who signed for Queen’s Park Rangers in July 2008.

A solid and consistent shot stopper, he was a near ever-present for the Rs in 2008-09 when he was in impressive form. The arrival of Paddy Kenny at Loftus Road in June 2010 pushed Radek back to the bench, and with his rival in superb form throughout the 2010-11 campaign his only Championship appearances came in the final two games of the season.

Radek spent over a decade with Slavia Prague, making well over 100 appearances, then had a lengthy spell on loan with Tottenham, although he was rarely first-choice ‘keeper during his spell at White Hart Lane.

Radek previously won three full caps for the Czech Republic.
