Philippe Senderos is an experienced defender who signed for Fulham in the summer of 2010. He is a tall, commanding and powerful centre back. Philippe had the misfortune to suffer a serious achilles injury shortly before the start of the 2010-11 season and it was several months before he eventually recovered fitness. He went on to make his debut for the Whites at Sunderland at the end of April, adding two further appearances before the end of the season. Philippe began his career with Servette before joining Arsenal and he went on to spend seven years with the Gunners, gaining an FA Cup winners? medal when he played in the triumph over Manchester United in May 2005. Philippe has over 40 caps for Switzerland to date, having made his debut back in March 2005.
