Peter Murphy Biography

Peter Murphy is a young defensive player who developed through the Accrington Stanley youth set-up before making his senior debut towards the end of the 2007-08 campaign. He started the following season as a member of the senior squad but lost his place through injury. Peter has since continued to add to his first-team experience appearing in a number of different positions including a holding midfield role. He made a handful of League Two starts in 2010-11 and was a regular on the substitutes’ bench during the season.
