Patrick Madden Biography

Patrick Madden is an Irish-born striker who joined Carlisle United in January 2011 from Bohemians.

Already a Republic of Ireland U21 international, his goal scoring feats with the Bohs and also Shelbourne, where he had a successful spell on loan, attracted the attention of a number of clubs on this side of the Irish Sea.

His United debut came in early February when he came off the bench against Walsall and in total he made over a dozen substitute appearances for the Cumbrians in the closing three months of the season.
