Niko Kranjcar Biography
Niko Kranjcar is a midfield player who joined Tottenham
Hotspur in September 2009.
A versatile attacking midfielder, he has been used
by Spurs primarily on the left side, while being given freedom to enter other
areas, either supporting the attack or bolstering the defence. Niko has good
ball retention skills, and can wade through tackles, as well as win the ball
with his own well-timed interventions.
His passing is of a high quality, and he
is capable of the spectacular. He made regular appearances in the team in his
first season at White Hart Lane but in 2010-11 found himself competing with
Gareth Bale for the left-midfield position and made just a couple of starts in
the Premier League.
Niko continued to make regular appearances for Croatia during 2010-11 and now has more than 60 caps for his country.
