Nicky Adams is a versatile midfield player who signed for Rochdale in January 2011 having previously been at Spotland on loan from October 2010. Nicky began the 2010-11 season with Brentford, but struggled to make an impact at Griffin Park. After signing for Dale he quickly established himself in the line-up. Nicky was a product of the Bury youth set-up and built up a fine reputation in his three seasons of first-team football at Gigg Lane before moving on to Leicester. However, he never really established himself with the Foxes and after a brief spell at Brentford he returned to the North West to sign for Rochdale.
