Neil Mellor Biography
Neil Mellor is an experienced striker for Preston North End who spent the entire 2010-11 season on loan with Sheffield Wednesday. Neil scored 20 goals in all competitions for the Owls in his loan spell before returning to the Lilywhites at the end of the campaign.
Neil went down well with the Hillsborough supporters as he is the son of former Wednesday striker Ian Mellor.
The forward signed for Preston in the summer of 2006 and has made over 100 League appearances to date, scoring 30 goals. A former trainee at Liverpool, he is best known for his impressive finishing ability and immense work rate.
