Morten Gamst Pedersen is a wide-left midfield player who joined Blackburn Rovers from Norwegian club Tromso in the summer of 2004. After a short settling-in period he established himself in the line-up at Ewood Park and has now made over 200 Premier League appearances for the club. A tricky winger with a strong work ethic, he is capable of whipping in dangerous crosses from the flank and has earned a reputation for scoring spectacular goals. Morten again featured regularly for Rovers in the 2010-11 season, scoring four goals, including a double in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa in November. A regular at international level for Norway since 2004, he has now won over 60 caps for his country.
