Morgan Schneiderlin Biography
Morgan Schneiderlin has provided an elegant presence in the Southampton midfield since arriving at St Mary’s from RC Strasbourg in June 2008. His anticipation is impeccable, his tacking surgical, he uses the ball shrewdly, even under pressure. He had something of a frustrating time in 2010-11, suffering an injury in February, compounded in March, limiting his appearances to a couple of end-of-season cameos thereafter. So, while Saints did win automatic promotion, the St Mary’s faithful missed Morgan’s presence. Morgan has represented France at all age-group levels from U16, moving up to the U21 squad in 2010-11.
