Player Details
Mikkel Andersen is a young goalkeeper who signed for Reading in January 2007, having already created history as the youngest goalkeeper to ever play in Denmark's top tier during his time at AB Copenhagen. Mikkel is yet to make his Royals debut, but has spent loan spells at Torquay, Brentford, Brighton and Bristol Rovers, and played understudy to Alex McCarthy when Adam Federici was missing through injury towards the end of the 2010-11 season. Named the best goalkeeper in the Toulon Tournament in 2010, he then starred as Denmark?s goalkeeper in the UEFA U21 Championships the following summer.
