Michael Duff Biography

Michael Duff is the longest serving outfield player at Burnley, having arrived from Cheltenham Town in the summer of 2004. Michael joined a small squad and, although preferring a central role, slotted straight into the Burnley team at right back. Such is his versatility in the back line that he has swapped from one to the other throughout his Burnley career but over the last two seasons has been used almost exclusively in that favoured central defensive slot. After an early-season injury he returned to play over half of the games in 2010-11, a campaign that saw him pass 200 League appearances for the Clarets.
