Matthew Taylor Biography

A left-sided midfield man who joined West Ham United from Bolton in July 2011. Matt is an experienced player with extensive Premier League experience. He played regularly for the Hammers, sometimes being used at left back, but his appearances were restricted by injury. Matt is a good distributor of the ball with the ability to score spectacular goals. He began his career with Luton and later played for Portsmouth before joining Bolton in 2008. Matt has represented England U21s.
