Matt Taylor Biography

Matt Taylor is a left winger who was on the books of Bolton Wanderers in 2010-11.

Matt, who can also play on the right flank, is a dead-ball specialist and capable of scoring spectacular goals. After signing for Wanderers in January 2008 he established himself as a regular in the matchday squad, going on to make over 100 Premier League appearances during his stay.

Matt began his career as a trainee with Luton where he played regular first-team football as a teenager. In the summer of 2002 he was transferred to Portsmouth and in his first season at Fratton Park he helped the club gain promotion to the Premier League. He went on to make over 150 appearances for Pompey before joining Bolton.

Matt left the Reebok in the summer of 2011, linking up with his former manager Sam Allardyce at West Ham.
