Matthew Sparrow Biography
Matt Sparrow is a hardworking midfield player who joined
Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2010 after 12 years at Scunthorpe
United.
Matt is an energetic and aggressive box-to-box player who is most
effective in a central midfield role. He scored twice on his debut for Brighton
at Swindon and went on to establish himself as a regular in the Seagulls'
line-up.
Matt made his first-team debut for Scunthorpe back in the 1999-2000
season and during his time at the club made over 300 first-team appearances,
winning promotion on three occasions.
