Matt Jarvis Biography
Matt Jarvis is a midfield player who joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2007. He is a winger, at home on either flank, who has pace and the ability to cross the ball with either foot. Matt has been a regular in the Wolves’ line-up since arriving at Molineux and has now made over 100 League appearances. He was a near ever-present in the 2010-11 season, scoring a crucial winner in the away game at Villa Park. He went on to win both the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards for 2010-11. Matt made his senior debut for Gillingham as a scholar and was a regular in the first team whilst still a teenager. He won his first full cap for England when he came on as a substitute against Ghana in March 2011.
