Marouane Chamakh is a striker who signed for Arsenal in the summer of 2010. A hard working, intelligent target man his height makes him effective in the air. Marouane was particularly impressive in the early part of the 2010-11 campaign, scoring regularly including one in each of the Gunners? first three Champions? League group games. However, he was less prominent in the second half of the season when he was often on the bench.
