Mark Schwarzer is a seasoned goalkeeper who signed for Fulham in July 2008. He is an excellent shot stopper who dominates the penalty area and has developed a good understanding with his back four. Mark has been first choice at Craven Cottage over the last three seasons, producing a series of assured displays, interspersed by a string of brilliant saves. A highlight came when he featured in the team defeated by Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final in May 2010. Mark had previously spent 11 seasons with Middlesbrough, where he made over 350 appearances. He was chosen as the inaugural Australian Footballer of the Year in June 2009 and is now his country?s most capped player, having appeared in over 90 internationals.
