Mark Hudson is an experienced central defender who signed for Cardiff City during the 2009 summer transfer window following the relegation of Charlton Athletic to League One. An inspirational leader on the field, he was immediately installed as the Bluebirds? captain and was a fixture in the line-up before being sidelined by an ankle injury. Mark returned to action for that season?s play-offs and went on to feature regularly in 2010-11, leading the Bluebirds to the play-offs once more only for them to fall to Reading. He began his career at Fulham and has experience of Premier League football from his time with Crystal Palace.
