Mark Beevers is a defender with League One club Sheffield Wednesday. A graduate of the club's youth policy, tall centre half Mark was an automatic choice during the 2010-11 season and was virtually ever present until suffering a serious facial injury during a home loss to Peterborough United in March 2011. He had made his senior debut for the Owls at the tender of just 17 years and 71 days, since when he has made solid progress. Mark has now made almost 140 first-team appearances and he looks set to remain a regular at Hillsborough for the foreseeable future.
